GUWAHATI, Dec 25 � Atanu Sen will be making his maiden visit to North East as the MD & CEO of SBI Life Insurance Co Ltd tomorrow, stated a press release. During his visit he will have discussion with the top officials of the SBI NE circle. He will also visit Missionaries of Charity � Shantidan located at Bharalumukh here for a community service activity from SBI life.
In the evening he will attend a felicitation function to honour top performing employees of SBI & SBI Life. He will also review the performance of SBI Life in NE with SBI Life senior functionaries. Sen will be accompanied by Anand Pejawar, executive director, zone 2, SBI Life Insurance Co Ltd.
A post graduate in economics from Calcutta University, Sen started his career with SBI in 1977 as a probationary officer. During his tenure spanning over 35 years, he has several key assignments in various cricles of the Bank including the Banks� office at Frankfurt. He held the key position of GM in the North East Circle in the year 2005. He also held the key position of chief general manager in the Mumbai Circle of the bank. Prior to joining SBI Life as MD & CEO, he held the position of Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit and Risk Officer of State Bank of India.
