GUWAHATI, May 14 � With a comfortable 45-run victory against Bongaigaon, Tinsukia made it to the final of the U-13 Umamanda Bora Memorial Inter District Cricket Tournament.
In the first semifinal played at the Barsapara stadium here today, put into bat, Tinsukia scored a challenging 176 all out in 37.3 overs with Abhishek Bhuyan being the top scorer (32). For Bongaigaon, Subhadeep Chakravorty came out with a five-wicket haul (5/30).
Chasing the tough target, the Bongaigaon boys, despite a 74-ball 61 by Gautam Sahani, failed to reach the target and were all out for 131 in 37.4 overs.
