DOOMDOOMA, Oct 22 - Doomdooma Press Club has condoled the death of eminent journalist Tilak Hazarika. The members of the club held a condolence meeting this evening and observed one minute silence prayer for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Tinsukia District Journalists Association (TDJA) has also condoled the death of Tilak Hazarika. In a condolence message Tinsukia District Journalists Association president Anuj Kalita and secretary Manoranjan Das termed Hazarika�s deaths an irreparable loss for the field of Assamese journalism.
Doomdooma unit OF Sahitya Sabha, Rupai unit of Sahitya Sabha, Doomdooma Jatiya Vidyalaya, Doomdooma branch Sadau Asom Lekhika Samaroh Samity and several other organisations have also condoled the death of Tilak Hazarika. Sadiya-Saikhowa Press Club and Kakopothar Press Club have also condoled the death of Tilak Hazarika and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
