JORABAT, Oct 13 - Two brothers Pobin Das and Sobin Das of Arabari under Sonapur PS, and Pobin�s wife Rupali Das have been arrested in connection with the murder of Puspo Hazuary (28), a resident of Boro Basti, Ural under Sonapur PS around 9 pm yesterday.
Hazuary, a married man, was suspected of having an affair with Rupali. The local residents have also confirmed that Hazuary used to visit Pobin�s house during his absence.
Dacoit held: Notorious dacoit Moidul Islam, mastermind of the Jorabat NRL petrol depot dacoity of August 24 in which a total of Rs 19, 91,500 was looted from the staff of the petrol pump, was caught yesterday in Nalbari by a joint team of Nalbari Police and Jorabat Police, and was formallky arrested today after he confessed his involvement in the crime.
He was caught while he was watching a football match.
