Three e-services launched in Lakhimpur

NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Oct 4 - Dharitree, e-District and ARTPS � three services offered by the State Government electronically were formally launched in Lakhimpur to mark the 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Gandhi Jayanti.

The three services were inaugurated by the Lakhimpur Deputy Commissioner, Debeswar Malakar in a function held in the Revenue Circle Office, North Lakhimpur. A public meeting was held which was chaired by Lakhimpur ADC Dibakar Doley. Inaugurating the e-services, Malakar said that a lot of ease and convenience would be created concerning various needs of the public by these three cyber-provided schemes of the Government. He said that Lakhimpur district had already earned appreciation for achieving total success in the NRC update programme, which is also served by information technology and expressed his optimism that more would be achieved in the district by these three e-services. The DC called upon the public, office employees, senior citizens and the media to focus more on the development of the district on a positive approach.

The Circle Officer of North Lakhimpur Revenue Circle, Manjeet Borkakoty explained the e-service called �Dharitree� in that meeting. He said that it was a service where all land records and its necessary procedure and documents at various stages of possession, sale or succession etc would be conducted in computer software and would be delivered to the needy persons promptly on time.

Similarly the �e-District� would deliver Government-to-citizen services, like issue of various certificates and the �ARTPS� would provide the delivery of notified public services to the people of the district within the stipulated time limit.
