AIZAWL, Sept 27 - A three-day Anthurium Festival will be held at Lengpui Mini Sport Complex here from Oct 1-Oct 3. Union Minister of State for Tourism Dr Mahesh Sharma is expected to inaugurate the festival, an official release here said.
This year, Mizoram Bamboo Day will also be held along with the Anthurium Festival, on the occasion of which an exhibition of bamboo-made products and training programmes will be organised.
Entertainment programmes like Rock festival and Beat Contest are also on the schedule of the festival. A Cheraw dance competition will also be organised on the occasion.
