The softer side of Gayle

BANGALORE, April 18 (PTI): Star batsman Chris Gayle today showed his softer side when he dropped in at a city hospital to meet the little girl Tia Bhatia, who was injured after one Jamaican opener�s sixes hit her while watching the match from Chinnaswamy Stadium stands.

The Royal Challengers Banaglore batsman along with team owner Sidhartha Mallya met the 11-year-old Tia undergoing treatment for nasal bone fracture at a private hospital.

A butcher of bowlers, one saw the �Gentle Giant� really touched about his short conversation with the kid where she told him not to be sad and keep hitting them in the stands.

�It was a touching moment ... I pray for her speedy recovery,� Gayle said. The doctors at the Mallya Hospital informed that Tia is well and truly on her way to recovery.
