GUWAHATI, Dec 11 - The fifth edition of the TG Baruah Memorial T20 Media Cricket Tournament will get underway at the Judges� Field here on January 2.
Giving details about the championship, organising body president Sunil Bora and secretary Prasanta Pratim Dutta said that all the print and electronic media houses will take part in the league-cum-knockout tournament.
This year an exhibition match among the women journalists will also be organised during the tournament.
Interested media houses may confirm their participation along with identity cards, before December 20.
Apart from the State Government, organisations including Prag News, The Assam Tribune, State Bank of India, Assam Cricket Association, Ajmal Foundation, among others are co-sponsors of the championship which will be held under the aegis of Shristi Group.
