GUWAHATI, Dec 11 - The Assam State Trained Graduate Elementary Teachers� Association has welcomed the order of the Gauhati High Court to quash the directions of the State government�s Finance (pay research) Department, superseding the Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.
In a statement issued here, the Association office bearers said that upholding the Revision of Pay rules would provide succour to the trained graduate elementary teachers of the State. It also asked the teachers to unite for claiming their rights.
