GUWAHATI, Oct 5 - Renowned actor-director Kulada Kumar Bhattacharjee and eminent painter-sculptor Sonaram Nath will be presented the 5th Tarun Duvarah Memorial Oil India Award 2015 at Rabindra Bhawan here tomorrow at 4.30 pm, stated a press release issued here today.

The awards will be presented by State Cultural Affairs Minister Bismita Gogoi. PK Sharma, Director (Operation), Oil India Limited, will also attend the function as a guest of honour.

Kulada Bhattacharjee is recognised as a pioneer in radio drama and theatre in Assam while Sonaram Nath is a luminary in the field of art in the State.

The award is presented annually by the Oil India Limited in association with the Gauhati Artists� Guild, The Assam Tribune and the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Assam, to two renowned persons from the fields of art and culture in Assam. The awards carry a cash amount of Rs 1,50,000 each, along with a citation.
