GUWAHATI, Jan 10 � Spinner Arlen Konwar and middle order batsman Tarjinder Singh have been included in the East Zone team for the Duleep Trophy Tournament.
East Zone will play against Central Zone at Cuttack from January 19 to 22. Bengal batsman Manoj Tiwari will lead the East Zone team in the meet.
Gokul Sharma and Abu Naschim Ahmed are in the stand-bye list.
The selection was made in the East Zone selection committee meeting held at Cricket Association of Bengal office in Kolkata today with C Raja Venkatraman in the chair.
The team: Manoj Tiwari (capt), Shreevats Goswami, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Wridhiman Saha (wk), Ashok Kumar Dinda, Iresh Saxena (all Bengal), Natraj Behra, Niranjan Behra, Basant Mohanty, Alok Sahoo (all Orissa), Sourav Tiwary, Ishank Jaggi (both Jharkhand), Arlen Konwar, Tarjinder Singh (both Assam), Timir Chandra (Tripura).
