GUWAHATI, Jan 10 - Tanishqa Patar of India Club, Guwahati annexed the girls singles (U-14) title defeating Namrata Das of Guwahati 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 in a gruelling final while in the boys singles (U-12) final, Antariksh Tamuly of Golaghat got the better of Aryan Bora of Golaghat 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 to lift the title in the 3rd Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship organised by the Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) at the RG Baruah Sports Complex here today.
All the finals of the boys singles (U-14 and 18) and girls singles (U-12 and 18) will be played tomorrow from morning 7.30 am onwards.
The closing prize distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow at 3.00 pm.
