GUWAHATI, Aug 30 - The 1st Inter School Taekwondo Championship concluded today at the Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School auditorium here.
Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School won the best team award while Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti secured the second best position. Altogether 320 students from 62 schools participated in this two-day event which was organised by the Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti on the occasion of National Sports Day.
In the closing function, general secretary of the All Assam Taekwondo Association Hiranya Saikia, principal of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti Dr Diganta Haldar were present and distributed the medals to the winners.
