Suzuki has launched the updated Gixxer SF 150 motorcycle at Rs.1.10 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2019 Gixxer SF 150 gets a revised styling with additional features and hence priced around Rs.12,000 higher than the 2018 model. The updated bike will be a tough competitor to its rival, the Hero Xtreme 200S.
2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 gets a major update in terms of both design and ergonomics. The bike now looks more sportier than before with a revised fairing which features a sharp-looking LED headlamp along with a new split-seat configuration. The highlight goodies include a sportier clip-on handlebar, redesigned chrome garnish on the double-barrel exhaust and a slightly tweaked instrument cluster with a white backlight.
Mechanically, the new Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 gets the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine which delivers a slightly lower power output of 14.1hp when compared to the current 14.59hp power while the torque output remains the same as 14Nm. Suzuki has retuned the suspension slightly and strengthened the chassis frame with a thicker centre tube on the updated Gixxer SF 150. The single-channel ABS and disc brakes at both ends continue to remain the same.
