Sushma�s help sought for repatriation of Karimganj girl

SILCHAR, April 8 - BJP Mahila Morcha national vice- president Shipra Goon on Saturday said that she would meet Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi on Monday and seek her intervention for repatriation of Mousumi Das, a student of Rabindra Sadan Girls College, who is now in judicial custody in Bangladesh for her entry into the neighboruing country.

�We will seek the intervention of the Ministry of Extarnal Affiars on this issue. Also, we will appraise the Minister regarding the recent instances of kidnapping, dacoity and theft by Bangladeshi miscreants in Karimganj,� Goon maintained.

She also demanded punitive measures against the BJP minority cell leader Iqbal Hussain for his suspected role behind the alleged elopement of Mousumi.

On the other hand, the Karimganj unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad has set a deadline of seven days before the administration to bring back Mousumi Das and demanded action against Numan Badsha, a local trader from Bangladesh who had eloped with the 21 year old girl.
