Sunrise AC, Assam Rifles in final

GUWAHATI, Sept 10 � Sunrise AC beat NISA, Manipur 4-1 in the first semifinal of the 3rd Airtel GTC Challenge Football Tournament at the Judges� Field here today.

The first goal was fired Stanley Okechi of Sunrise in the 13th minute. The second goal came in the 55th minute through Enoch Amoafo. It was Sanjay Nag, the man-of-the-match, who shot the third goal in the 52nd minute. Okechi scored his second goal of the match in the 60th minute to make the scoreline 4-0.

NISA got a consolation goal in the 70th minute through Samarjeet. The final will be played on September 12.

In the second semifinal today, Assam Rifles beat Morning Star 4-2. Man-of-the-match Ajit Singh drew first blood in the 15th minute. Then Bunnu Jidgung fired two in the 44th and 54 minutes of the game. The fourth goal was scored by D Chunga in the 80th minute.

For Morning Star, Sailen Singh scored in the 72nd minute and G Ingti scored in the 77th minute. The final will be played on September 12.
