Summer workshop at Museum from July 3

GUWAHATI, June 10 - A four-day summer workshop for children will be organised by Headway Club in partnership with India Tourism and Apollo Hospitals in the auditorium of the Assam State Museum here from July 3 to 6.

The workshop will be conducted in two groups for children aged between five years and 10 years and between 11 years and 16 years.

It will cover various activities for children and parents, including sessions on storytelling, quiz, travel and tourism, learning essential skills relating to health, among other things.

Various competitions will be held during the course of the workshop.

Exclusive reading, communication, creative writing and quiz modules besides other activities have been designed to ensure that children are effectively instructed on such often neglected aspects.

The sessions have been designed to cover the most essential aspects of �growing up�, so that even parents can benefit.

Headway Club is an organisation working to promote the culture of books and creativity among children.
