GUWAHATI, April 10 Body of SULFA man Dhruva Talukdar, who was missing since March 27, was today exhumed in near-decomposed condition from near the Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary located in Sonapur area this morning.

Talukdar who had diversified business interests, according to police, was shot dead on March 26 evening, by Pradeep Baishya, his personal assistant and Binod Kumar Mili, the deceaseds personal security officer.

Both Baishya and Mili were arrested on Monday and based on their confession Talukdars body was recovered today. Police is on look out for Talukdars driver Mithun, who also assisted the duo in burying the deceased.

Talukdar was a resident of Uttar-Pub Geetanagar and the matter of his disappearance came to the light after his mother Binita Talukdar lodged a missing complaint with the City Police.

From what we have gathered, it appears to be a planned murder. It could be a result of business rivalry or personal enmity. We are probing all angles and very soon things should be crystal clear, a senior Assam Police official said.
