Successful APSC candidates feted

TEZPUR, Nov 28 - In a special programme organised at Misamari Harimu Afad on Monday by Misamari Bodo Sahitya Sabha and Misamari unit of ABSU felicitated Anindita Brahma and Elima Kandulana of Misamari under Dhekiajuli LAC in Sonitpur district for bagging the 34th and 39th positions in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) examination.

The event was presided over by president of Misamari Primary Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Hitesh Narzari and was conducted by secretary of the literary body, Pradip Boro. Noted personalities of the area, including general secretary of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Prasanta Boro, retired Principal of Misamari Higher Secondary School Rajat Kalita, and Principal of the institution, Kanak Bardoloi, general secretary of the governing body of Misamari College, Kanak Bhatta and a large number of students from all the schools and colleges attended the programme.

Receiving the honour, Anindita Brahma explained how she cracked the exam. In this context, she appealed to the students to work hard on their studies in achieving their goals. �Patience and perseverance are the keys for attaining any goal. There is nothing impossible in this world , but we must have goals coupled with dedication,� she observed.

Similarly, Elima Kandulana made a brief presentation about her educational journey despite hardships. Her success came by dint of hard work and, of course, proper selection of subjects.

Prasanta Boro, general secretary of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha while congratulating the students said that it is a great pride for the people of Misamari areas and expressed the hope that more and more students will be able to crack Civil Service Examination in the days to come.
