Instead, our children should be nurtured to become ideal citizens of the future, besides balanced human beings with patriotic fervour, observed Kuladhar Saikia, DGP of Assam, while addressing a congregation of HSLC first division holders under Udalguri LAC, along with guardians and teachers from the respective schools.

The DGP also referred to the great saying of Martin Luther King and urged the students to go through the life stories of great personalities in order to derive inspiration.

Earlier, PHE Minister Rihon Daimari welcomed the guests while Dilip Kumar Das, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri district, Rajveer Singh, Superintendent of Police of Udalguri, Col. Rahul of 14 Garhwal Rifles also encouraged the students in their respective speeches.
