IMPHAL, Feb 16 � For the second time in two days, students of a Manipur school tried to set afire their school building in protest against the closure of schools due to the ongoing teachers agitation, official sources said.
The students of Lilong Girls High School at Lilong in Thoubal district tried to set ablaze their school but fire brigade personnel reached the spot in time and saved it, the sources said.
Students had yesterday made a similar attempt when they tried to set afire another school building in the heart of the capital complex in protest against teachers� agitation but timely intervention of firemen saved it. � PTI
