JORABAT, Sept 18 - A 17-year-old student of the Montfort School at 10th Mile succumbed to his injuries after accidentally falling from the terrace of the boys� hostel building on the school campus on Sunday. The victim has been identified as Monthir Chakma, a Higher Secondary first year student of the school. The deceased originally hailed from Mizoram.
According to the school authorities, Monthir fell from the terrace of the hostel around 9 am and was rushed to the GNRC Hospital, Six Mile, but was later referred to the GMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries. The actual reason behind the death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report, police said.
