GOALPARA, March 16 - Along with the rest of the State, employees of the Deputy Commissioner�s Office here have started a three-day non-cooperation strike from Wednesday.
The All Sadou Assam Zilla Prasasan Sangthan, Goalpara district has informed that the protest by the employees is due to the government's indifferent attitude in rectifying the anomalies in regard to the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission The government should reconsider its decision so that the DC Office employees� salary and benefits are at par with that of the employees of State Secretariat.
