KOKRAJHAR, May 11 - A devastating storm that lashed Kokrajhar on Thursday night left behind a trail of destruction at many places across the district.
Massive damages took place at villages like Bhutiapara, Balajan Tiniali, Benibari, Laltari, Choutaki etc., under Kokrajhar police station.
The storm which lasted more than an hour blew away roofs and several houses besides damaging huts. Electric polls and a large number of trees were also uprooted in the storm. Due to the storm, power supply in the region has been badly affected. More than 200 families have been affected during Thursday night�s storm.
