TINSUKIA, Sept 7 � Protesting against the arrest of a TV journalist Jaikholong Brahma by Kokrajhar Police on September 3, the journalist�s fraternity of Tinsukia continued their stir programme and staged a one-hour Tinsukia Police Station gherao programme on Saturday.
The gherao programme under the banner of Tinsukia E � Media Forum was participated by the representatives of Tinsukia units of various organisations namely All Tai Ahom Students� Union, All Assam Mottock Students� Union, Tinsukia district Students� Union, All Assam Moran Students� Union, Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha among others.
The protesters threatened that the protest programme would continue till the unconditional release of the arrested journalists.
