Stir against movement of materials begin

GUWAHATI, Sept 16 � the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) today announced commencement of its agitational programme to block the movement of the construction materials to the Gerukamukh site of the Lower Subansiri Hydroelectric Project (LSHEP) of the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today said that the ongoing week-long agitation of its Lakhimpur and Dhemaji district units to block the movement of construction materials to the Gerukamukgh project site of the LSHEP would come to an end tomorrow.
