GUWAHATI, April 12 - Commissioner of Industries and Commerce Dr KK Dwivedi conducted a review meeting of all the general managers (GMs) at Udyog Bhawan, Bamunimaidam here today.
During the review meeting, Dr Dwivedi called upon the GMs to think out of the box and set thrust on entrepreneurship and resource metrics in their respective districts to boost industrial growth.
�This will create a chain of infrastructure development, employment generation and economic development, which will benefit the society as a whole,� he said.
Besides, the Commissioner called upon the managers to support handholding, resolve land issues and coordinate with banks to motivate the entrepreneurs.
He asked them to be a guiding force to lead and transform their ideas into successful industrial models and promote a conducive and innovative platform at their workplaces.
Dr Dwivedi further stated that the managers must analyse the viability of the potential sectors from the production stage to processing, packaging and marketing.
