GUWAHATI, June 27 � Assam won eight medals, including three gold, in the 31st Sub Junior National Aquatic Championship which is going on at Indore.

Assam�s medley relay team-comprising of Bikash Changmai, Bhargab Phukan, Abhigyan Madhurya Dutta and Manjim Gogoi set a new national mark with a timing of 20 minute 20:94 secs to win gold medal. Uttara Gogoi, 50m butterfly and Bikram Changmai, 50m butterfly won one gold medal each for Assam.

Other medal winners were-Bastab Tapan Bordoloi (silver in 50m butterfly), two silvers in 50X4 freestyle relay, Rajashree Borgohain (bronze in 100m breast stroke), Bigang Das (bronze in 200m free style).
