State startups chosen for NIDHI-EIR prog

GUWAHATI, Dec 8 - Two startups from Assam � Let�s Learn Together and Little Machines � have been selected for the NIDHI-Entrepreneurs-In-Residence programme, under which they are entitled to a monthly grant of up to Rs 30,000 for a year.

The NIDHI-Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIR) programme is an initiative by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Government of India, supporting technology business incubators. It aids academic and research institutions to leverage technologies and innovations for venture creation. The programme provides opportunities for innovative entrepreneurs to expand their networks and get critical feedback on their ventures.

The selected startups will receive expert guidance, mentorship and crucial networking support from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park along with co-working space at IIM Calcutta campus and a monthly grant of up to Rs 30,000 for a year.

Both the startups are currently incubated at Assam Startup�The Nest, in association with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.

Let�s Learn Together is an app-based startup offering coaching for various competitive exams in regional language in Assam. The startup helps connect a community of teachers, successful candidates and aspirants of competitive exams for jobs directly or indirectly under the Government of Assam.

Little Machines has developed �Microcam� � a smart and portable digital microscope with AI implement across the device for better diagnosis and observation.
