GUWAHATI, May 18 - A 28-member Assam team will take part in the 40th National Armwrestling Championship to be held at Nagpur from May 20 to 24.
Pranab Nath (manager), Sarbeswar Kalita (care taker) and Sidhartha Malakar (captain) are accompanying the team.
The Indian team for the 38th World Armwrestling Championship, scheduled to be held at Bulgaria in October next will be picked from the championship, informed State Arm Wrestling Association of Assam general secretary Pran Pratim Chaliha in a release.
