GUWAHATI, April 19 � Four woman powerlifters from Assam have been selected to represent the Indian team which will participate in the Asian Powerlifting Championship for junior, senior and masters to be held at Udaipur, Rajasthan from May 1 to 7. Altogether 17 Asian countries have confirmed their participation in the eight-day meet, stated a release.
The selected powerlifters from Assam are-Minati Dihingia (junior), Minu Gogoi, Champa Gogoi, Mrinalini Saikia (all seniors).
