NAGAON, June 20 - To mark the 4th International Yoga Day, the State-level programme will be held at the Nurul Amin Stadium centrally tomorrow at 6 am.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Railway Minister Rajen Gohain, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Goel, State PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, State Health Minister (Independent charge) Pijush Hazarika and Nagaon MLA Rupok Sarma will grace the occasion.
During the last few days, a large number of participants mainly students and youths participated in the practice session held at the stadium during the morning hours. Banners, posters, flags have covered the main areas of the town and a festive mood pervades in many places.
The Nagaon district authority has invited all people to take active part in practising yoga which is beneficial for both physical and mental health.
