GUWAHATI, Jan 31 � The Assam kickboxing team has won 21 medals, including 2 gold in the 4th Indian Open National Kickboxing Championship which was held at Rajib Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi from January 18 to 22. The meet was hosted by Delhi Kickboxing Association under the auspices of Technical Council of IAKO with more than 1,000 participants from 22 States (Boys and Girls). The State team was led by Biswajit Kakoti (Guwahati), Suraj Sarnia (Sivasagar) and Sanjay Brahma (Udalguri), states a press release.

The medal winners: Pranjol Rabha, Pritam Gogoi (gold), Madhuri Mahato, Jaydeb Boro, Hunaswar Borah (Assam Police), Kiran Thapa, (silver), Upen Das, Bikram Thapa, Dipika Boro, Khwrwmdao Basumatary, Bipul Roy, Raju Rabha, Khargeswar Boro, Sobin Borgohain, Rajesh Hajong, Munu Boro, Rabi Ram Rabha, Mamoni Rabha, Dulumoni Das, Rupali Boro, Hernlota Das (bronze).
