NEW DELHI, April 20 - Assam Karatekas won four medals, including one gold and one silver on the opening day of the KAI Sub Junior National Karate Championship being held at the Talkotora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
Hemphu Bongjang won gold in 11 years boys individual kata event while Mugdha Baruah won silver in 10 years girls individual kumite above 30 kg category. Namashruti Gogoi won bronze in the 8 years girls individual kata and Geet Gunjan Das also bagged bronze in 12 years boys individual kata event.
