GUWAHATI, Sept 14 - The All Style-Karate Do Association, Assam will organise the 28th edition of the Assam State Karate-Do Championship from November 1 to 3 at the Dekhbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium, RG Baruah Sports Complex here. This was finalised during the meeting of the Association held at All Guwahati Karate-Do Association's office today.
A 21-member organising committee was formed today to conduct the three-day meet successfully. Dipak Das and Diganta Das will be the president and executive secretary of the committee respectively whereas Rupak Rajbonshi, secretary of All Style-Do Association, Assam, has been nominated as the treasurer.
Around 500 players are expected to participate in the tournament. The organising committee informed all the affiliated districts to select their teams and submit the names on or before October 15.
