State Govt to seek review of SC judgement

GUWAHATI, April 29 - State Government will seek review of the Supreme Court's judgement clearing the decks for holding the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17.

In a statement here today, Gogoi said the decision on holding single test for medical entrance might prove counterproductive for the students of Assam. Hence, the State government has decided to seek a review of the Supreme Court's judgement on NEET. Gogoi also requested the Centre to take up the matter in right earnest.
