GUWAHATI, Aug 16 - The BJP, Sports Cell, Assam Pradesh has condemns the State Government for politicising the sports scenario in the State.
The BJP Sports Cell had applied for organising swimming competition at the Dr Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex, Sarusajai here on August 29 on the occasion of National Sports Day. The authorities concerned had given permission to organise the competition but on August 11 they had cancelled the permission citing other government programme in that premises, stated a release issued by Bishov Lal Pathak, convener Sports Cell BJP, Assam Pradesh.
