SIVASAGAR, July 2 -� The executive committee meeting of the Sivasagar Sports Association (SSA) was held yesterday after eight months at the TT Hall.
Along with discussing the other important matters, the meeting also resolved to appeal the State Government to release the remaining amount of Rs 3 crore out of Rs 5 crore which was allocated for the development of the SSA stadium project by the previous government.
Meanwhile, MP Topon Kumar Gogoi has allotted Rs 10 lakh with which some infrastructure in the complex has been completed. The SSA president Punaram Mili informed the members about various development works and sports activities of the organisation which have been carried out during this crucial period.
