GUWAHATI, April 13 - Shubham Bafna of Guwahati FC emerged champion in the 1st All Guwahati Inter Club Squash Championship which came to an end yesterday.
In the final Shubham defeated Jit Amrit Baruah of River Rine 11-7, 16-14, 11-2. Ravi Panjiyar of Navajyoti Club was the second runners up in the meet. In the closing function Guwahati East MLA Siddhartha Bhattacharya, GSA president Munin Nobis, Bhaskar Bhuyan, CEO of ATM Television along with a host of guests and sportspersons were present. The championship was organised by the Guwahati Squash Racket Association at the RG Baruah Squash Complex here where 12 clubs took part.
