SILCHAR, July 1 - Ahead of the World Sports Journalists Day, the District Sports Association Silchar organised a brief function on Wednesday to mark the occasion by honouring the sports journalists working across different media houses of Barak Valley and also from across the state.
As many as 27 sports journalists and photo journalists were felicitated by the association in presence of guests and senior media persons.
DSA president Babul Hore in his speech said that it is a humble way to express gratitude to the sports journalists who work tirelessly to cover live matches and other issues associated with sports.
