GUWAHATI, Nov 4 - Manu Bora a well-known sports organiser of the city died at his Uzan Bazar residence here yesterday. He was 48.
Bora took initiative in organising various activities at the Latasil play ground. He was a founder member of NEEDS which organised the day-night cricket at the Latasil playground in 1948. Manoj Choudhury, secretary of NEEDS condoled the death of the young sports organiser who was also associated with taekwondo. He leaves behind his wife and two sons.
