Spiritual fest from tomorrow

GUWAHATI, Dec 30 - The International Vedanta Society is celebrating �Love and Oneness�, a 3-day spiritual festival to commemorate the 79th birth anniversary of its founder Sri Bhagavan here from January 1 to 3. It will be attended by devotees not only from various parts of India, but also from around the world, said a press release.

The International Vedanta Society was established at Maligaon, Guwahati on November 19, 1989 by Sri Bhagavan. Within 30 years of its inception, the society has spread all over India and within 33 countries like USA, South American countries, UK, Spain, Holland, France, Germany, Italy, Africa, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, etc.

The three-day event will include spiritual discourses by various scholars of the International Vedanta Society of international repute, devotional songs, group dances by Indian and international devotees, power point presentations on various developmental and humanitarian works in Senegal, Africa, documentary film on the international tours of Bhagavan in 2019, etc.

The prime attraction and focus of the programme to be held at Bairavtala field, Binova Nagar, Kahilipara, will be divine elucidation on spirituality �Amrit Vani� by Sri Bhagavan.
