GUWAHATI, Oct 7 - The Guwahati Chess Association will organise South Point School, Guwahati Chess Championship at the School�s indoor stadium from October 29 to November 1.
Competitions will be conducted in the age groups of U-7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17,19 for both boys and girls along with women and veterans.
Top four players from each category will be awarded prizes and they will also qualify to represent Guwahati in the forthcoming All Assam Inter District Chess Championship. All the competitors have to produce age proof certificates before start of the championship, stated a release.
