South Point face Oakland in final

GUWAHATI, Feb 1 - South Point School set up summit clash in the Anuradha Baruah trophy 1st Royals Cup U-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament.

In the second semifinal of the Royals Club organised tournament at the Latasil playground here today, South Point prevailed over Royal Global School by four wickets.

Being asked to bat first, Royal Global boys were dismissed for 161 in 39.5 overs. South Point reached the target comfortably in 31.4 overs losing six wickets.

The two-day final will be played on February 4 and 5.

Brief scores: Royal Global School 161 (Rohit Singh 40, Aaswash Mahanta 24, Siddhant Maheswari 19; Ziyad Zaman 3/34). South Point School 162/6 (Sanjay Kr Singh 30, Dhruv Raaj Bora 26, Wasim Sahil Saikia 23; Rohit Singh 2/28).
