Sonowal slams Cong over corruption

By Correspondent

BONGAIGAON, Nov 2 - The Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (Independent Charge), Sarbananda Sonowal has hit out at the Congress party saying being corrupt, the Congress party-led State Government has already lost its moral strength, hence it is desperately looking for parties to forge an alliance for the upcoming Assembly polls in the State. He was speaking as the chief guest at a meeting organised by the district committee of the BJP at the Railway Institute, Old Colony, here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised the pride of our country in the globe within the one-and-a-half year of his term and that is why the party is getting popularity in the nation, said Sonowal.

The minister urged the party workers to approach the people so as to feel their expectations from the party and build confidence among the masses in the Bongaigaon assembly seat.

His party would address the issues of industrial development in Bongaigaon, if it forms the Government in the State, the Minister promised.
