GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - Success comes through struggle and there is no alternative to hard work for being successful in life, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said today while inaugurating the pre-examination coaching for civil services examination 2019-20 for the aspirants of the tea tribe community at a programme held at the Assam Administrative Staff College.
The pre-examination coaching, which is being organised for the third consecutive year by the Tea Tribe Welfare Department of the State government, will continue for six months. Altogether 50 students have been selected for the coaching from 210 applicants.
Sonowal said the tea tribe community, which is known for hard work, has the potential to march ahead successfully in today�s competitive world. He exuded confidence that the selected students would give justice to the faith reposed in their abilities.
The Chief Minister also said that success of the selected students in their life would inspire lakhs of students of the community in the days to come.
