SONARI, Feb 2 - The centenary celebration of Sonari Police Station, established in 1919 during British regime was observed today with a day-long programme.
An open session was held with Moni Gogoi, president, celebration committee in the chair. Dipak Kumar Handique, Deputy Commissioner, Charaideo inaugurated the meeting.
Golap Borgohain, founder principal, Sonari College addressed the gathering as the chief guest. Dimbeswar Gogoi and Bonshi Shyam addressed the meeting as guests of honour.
