TIHU, April 11 - Sonapur and Dibrugarh clinched the boys and girls titles respectively in the All Assam Inter District Junior (Boys and Girls) Kho-kho Championship which concluded at the Gordon HS School playground in Nalbari yesterday.
In the finals, Sonapur boys defeated Guwahati while Dibrugarh girls got the better of Sonapur.
Altogether 15 districts took part in this meet which was organised by the Nalbari District Kabaddi-Handball-Kho-kho Association. In the closing function, prizes were distributed by Aftab Hussain, secretary, Assam Khokho Association and Amal Narayan Patowary, president, All Assam Handball Association.
