GUWAHATI, March 9 - As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Guwahati-Siliguri Pipeline Unit (GSPL) under Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL) provided 65 solar-powered streetlights at Sadilapur in Jalukbari mouza of Kamrup earlier this week. The village is in the vicinity of Guwahati Siliguri Pipeline �Right of Way�.

The solar lights were handed over at a function by SK Satija, Executive Director of ERPL, in presence of AK Mishra, General Manager of Guwahati Siliguri Pipeline, Tej Bir Singh Bhandari, Deputy General Manager (CSR), and other senior officials of Indian Oil.

Ramendra Narayan Kalita, MLA of West Guwahati, was also present on the occasion and spoke about the efforts made by IOCL-GSPL in Kamrup district.
