DOOMDOOMA, Dec 11 - The 68 battalion of CRPF stationed at Raidang Tea Estate here distributed solar lights among 43 needy people hailing from different villages of Doomdooma area under its Civic Action Programme.
A special programme was organised at Ankur, a school for specially-abled children situated at Raidang. Addressing the gathering, Surendra Kumar, Commandant of the battalion expressed hope that such type of civic action programmes would strengthen relations police-public ties. Deputy Commandant Dinesh Chandra Singh, Dinesh Pal Singh, the OC of Doomdooma PS, Monimohan Konch, PPF officer from HUL, Sumit Das etc., were present at the function.
